The tribes of the Yakima Nation didn't have alot of global interation until the Lewis and Clark expedition. After that they almost had too much. The Yakima Nation tribes didn't mind the traders and trappers, what they minded was the settlers. Then when the US wanted to put the tribes on reservations is when they became the Yakima Indian Nation. They talked and even fought over too much global interaction.
